The lampshades are measured in cm diameter- this is the full measurement across the lampshade. The lampshades comes with a standard 40 mm European fitting and also a plastic 25 mm converter.
 
Shade Fitting Options:
Lamp fitting, located at the bottom of the shade.
Ceiling fitting, located at the top of the shade.
Duplex fitting, full adjustable for both lamp and ceiling position.

Shade Body:
Lampshades are lined with 300 micron thick flame retardent PVC which has passed glow wiretests carried out by the lighting association.
 
Safety:
Low energy light bulbs are recommended (40 watts or less)
